Please consider this a written notice to the purchaser: (1) this raffle will be drawn live on the South Shore Action For Hope Facebook page at 7:00PM on Sunday 12/2/24; (2) the prize is 2 tickets in The Loft to the Boston Bruins game on 4/1/25; (3) the appraised value of the prize is ticket face value $600; (4) Please ask to inspect prize; (5) 100% of the ticket price that goes to charitable purposes; (6) a maximum of 500 tickets will be sold; (7) this prize is considered to be ordinary income by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS); (8) no part of a raffle ticket purchase is considered a charitable contribution by the IRS; and (9) depositing the ticket or other material in connection with the raffle in the mail is a violation of federal law and may lead to criminal penalties.
